What is the Best Group Size for a Mini Photoshoot?
A mini photoshoot works great for solo travelers or couples looking for quick snapshots. However, for groups larger than three, we recommend a longer session to ensure everyone gets a great selection of photos. The larger the group, the more time is needed to arrange poses, capture individual shots, and get those perfect group moments.
Family Portraits
For small families of three, a mini session is usually sufficient. However, for larger family gatherings, multi-generational portraits, or sessions with small children, a 1-hour to 90-minute session is ideal. This allows everyone to remain relaxed and engaged throughout the shoot, preventing tiredness, restlessness, or hunger from affecting the session. If your family group includes six or more people, we strongly recommend booking at least a 1.5-hour photoshoot.
